Biography

Dr. Jayasree Nambiar is working as Assistant Professor - Economics (SPPU Approved) and IQAC coordinator with Sri Balaji Society’s Balaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Pune. She was formerly associated as PG Coordinator with Modern College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Shivaji Nagar,  Pune affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU). She brings 21 years of experience in Academics and research in the areas of Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Economics of Growth, Economics of Development, Public Economics, Labour Economics, International Economics, Managerial Economics, Research Methodology, Business Demography, Rural Development, Indian & Global Economic Development, Employee recruitment and record management, Recent trends and HR Accounting, International Business Management and Quantitative analysis.

She has a PhD in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She has published 28 research papers in Scopus, Peer-reviewed, Web of Science and ISSN journals. She has one published and 2 applied patents to her credit.  She is also the BOS member of well-known universities in Pune. She worked as an officiating Principal of Balaji College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Pune-33. She worked as a Conference convener of the National Conference on “Sustainability and Development” organised by Balaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science in 2023. She is an approved Ph.D. Research guide of SPPU.
